Designing a kids bedroom can be very challenging because children are growing up so fast these days. The modern trend is to create kids bedrooms that are as special and as attractive as any other space in the house; if not even more! This piece gives a secure, reliable, warm and magical place for kids to really give life to their own dreams. It was inspired on “Toy’s Story” the movie, especially on “Bus Lightyear” and his belief of being a true Space Ranger, protecting the Universe. Kids are passionate about adventure and super heroes and this room captures that essence and plant it in their souls. The stairs are drawers, just to give a hand to parents we want to have more than a toy and still, more than furniture.
The bed part is made with traditional basketry technique, with the remaining structure made of wood with white lacquered gloss finishes. It contains drawers that can be used as storage. This bottom part can also be converted into a sofa. The top parts are all upholstered in synthetic fur, trimmed in wood with gold leaf details. The strings are made by hand with traditional techniques and the metal parts are finished in gold bath. Light and sound system are controlled by a mobile app (Ilight) with several options: choice of music, light effects, and sleep time
Sleeping in white tones
Child growth phase occurs at night while they sleep. Therefore, it is important for them to get enough sleep and quality. One way to make the children can sleep comfortably is to create a design that cute kid’s bedroom so that our children are happy to be in the room, as we can see on the image. White is color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion. So, white color is always a good choice for a kid’s bedroom.
A traditional female room
This bedroom is a traditional option for little girls. Pink color represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing. And love is always a dream for every little (and grown up!) girl, don´t you agree? The butterflies on the wall gives the space a calm and quiet appearance.
